I am not satisfied with the State’s motive that Alex committed the murders to stall or obtain sympathy. It seems like it could have been a more spontaneous crime of passion - he wanted to talk to Maggie and she threatened to expose him or divorce him and take everything from him. Things got heated and he shot her - Paul witnessed it and threatened his father so Alex shot him in self-defense. Or something along those lines is much more believable to me than the what the state is saying. Also isn’t it suspicious that he happened to go visit his mother in the short window they were murdered? Seems much more likely that he did that after shooting them and called various people from the car to manufacture an alibi.
Hi guys! I was wondering if y'all have been interacting with any other journalists at/around the courthouse. There are a few people whom I genuinely like in general, but I can tell they have soooo much to learn. (saw a clip of someone being interviewed today - he mentioned the good ol' boys and the reporter asked what that means... gah!!) As much as I don't want journalists from big media to mooch off of you, I do wonder if you are working on or hoping to build relationships to improve the accuracy and depth of their reporting... or is it just not even worth your already very limited time? (I would understand either way!)
